Western Fair

Well it is Saturday again! I can't believe how fast time flies!

I went to the Western Fair here in London yesterday with my Residents from the Hospital where I work. I had an 88 year old Veteran who desperately wanted to go on the ferris wheel with me - but he wasn't able to stand in line, so we settled for the gondala ride that goes from one end of the fair to the other instead. He was so excited! He held my hand and was being all protective of me because he thought I was afraid of the ride - but I was really scared that he might fall out! I am so happy we did this together - it was really a great moment for me!

We plan on taking the family to the fair tomorrow! My husband thought he would go alone with my five year old son - this from the man who gets sick on pretty much any ride! I think Addy and I will go with them just to make sure they are ok! (LOL!).

Here is an older layout that I did with fair pictures from a few years ago from Tyler's first trip!
This will be Addy in the stroller this year wishing that she could go on all the rides with her big brother!

Happy Saturday!

Wow - it's the weekend already! I can't believe that the first week of school is already over - which also means that my holidays are over! (although it wasn't much of a vacation - I was sick for the entire week!).

Tyler did really great at school this week! He loves his new teacher, and all of his buddies from last year are in his class - who could ask for anything better than that!

I thought I would post a few more of my layouts on here - just don't judge my 'cropping of the photos' skills!

This pumpkin patch one is pretty old! Tyler is
five now and was only about two in the pics! But I thought that it fit well with the season!

I love Addison's huge eyes in this 'Apple of my Eyes!' layout! I couldn't resist doing a layout of this picture. You can't really tell on this small image of the layout - but her p.j.'s totally match this October afternoon paper! Oh how I LOVE October afternoon!

Back to School

I can't believe that tomorrow is the first day of school already! This little man starts SK tomorrow - where did the time go little man? You just keep surprizing me with all you do and know! Just a few moments ago you were giving me advice on diapers - telling me that we should use Huggies instead of Pampers because they fit more accurately.

I am on vacation this week so I am hopeful that I will get some scrapbooking done - so once I do I will post some layouts! I do know that I going to at least clean and organize my scrapbooking space!

The countdown is on - only seven more weeks until the scrapbook ladies and I go to Memories Manor. I am super excited to go - can you tell? A whole entire weekend spent with good friends doing something that I totally love to do!

Well I am off to spend half an hour of much needed cuddle time with Tyler before he goes to bed - I am not sure who is more nervous about school starting - him or I???

September Kit Reveal

Hello Everyone! I am super excited today to reveal my layouts that I did with the September kit from Scrappin' Great Deals. Thanks to Sheila for allowing me to be a guest designer for this month! I love the kit by the way!

The first layout I did just using items from the kit - I have been wanting to use these pictures for a few years - and finally found a way to do so!

The second layout I added: craft paper, rainboots thickers, and the flowers which are American Crafts.

And the final layout I added Black Tie velvet and Lullaby Thickers, more American Craft flowers and I also used my Cricut to make two of the flowers, and finally some Kaiser Pearls (LOVE those!). I know that the picture doesn't really go with the theme - but the expression on my daughter's face does!

Thanks for looking and also check out these other three designers for September at SGD : Sarah, Deena, and Krista, it is really great to see how the four of us did such different pages! Lots of ideas ladies - all you need is the kit!
